does anyone have the motocross action test of this bike?
I can pick up a brand new one for a good price.
But I want to see what motocross action said about the bike.

MXA said SLOW.This was amplified by the poor gear ratios in the 4 speed trans. So if you add a pipe right off ($700) you'd have to get it for $3k-$3200 to be a deal. When there's '08 & 09 Yamaha  and KTM 450's out there in the 5k range (as is 08 cr company bikes And the Yam & KTM's are the most reliable of the new gen 4 strokes, I can't think of  any reason to buy an 07 rm that wasn't very good in 07. There's a reason there's still 07 RM's out there. Book value (based on full MSRP, not a sale price is $4k.

I do know that any of these bikes abilities are far beyond mine!!! 😉

I rode Old Timer at REM Sunday and the guy parked by us had a new 2009 RM450 he picked up at Malcome Smith for
$5,400- OTD.  He loved the bike.  I'm riding the '08 and it's improved my corner speed.  The '08's and '09's are sleepers.
Your welcome to ride mine a few laps at Perris, I will be out of town this weekend missing the GP  :'(

Talk with Lee Evans, ZZ or Don.

If you hug the inside, the RM's are probably the best out. But for some reason, they are a poor selling bike. Should be the opposite with all the titles with Carmichael, Dungey, Reed. But their sales are so far off that they are not selling a 2010 model from what I understand. On top of their on again/off again support of amateur mx. All of this speaks volumes. What a shame. What's happening in this world :-

Carl -

After crushing my heal and having it plated and screwed, I'm out of contention for a very long time.

If you're interested, I'm selling my 05 CRF450.  As you know it's one fast bike!  More importantly, it has the factory Showa A-Kit forks I paid $8k for.  That doesn't include the triple clamps that had to be machined.  Rick(owner) of Factory Connection has been maintaining the suspension for the last two years.  I also have their factory reservoir on the shock.

All in all my whole bike is tricked out and meticulously maintained.  I've got a long list of extras!  With the factory forks I'm selling the bike for $6000, without the forks $3500. Factory Connection will give me $3k for the forks alone.  I'm sure I could get more but am not that interested in parting it out if in fact a gang member is interested.

Bottom-line, if I was continuing racing I'd continue with this same bike.  The suspension alone is a massive improvement beyond the new bikes.

If interested either send me an email at gfoster@cmstelcom.com or try my cell at 619-807-6052

Buy the zook Carl. Brand new bike, good price, and nobody else has messed with it. You can set it up how you want it and that thing will handle!

in mxa under ask the mxperts they said the only thing the 07 needed was springs (under sprung, when aren't they).
