The rain came last night/this morning as forecasted, also the wind. I am not going to make practice tomorrow due to my son having a basketball game at 10am. I will run down to the track just to see the conditions in the afternoon though.

My weather prediction is for light rain Friday thru Saturday tapering off early Saturday nite and leaving the track in epic racing conditions.....Remember it only rains on our side of the mountain not on the other side.......my .02cents
I live in the Antelope Valley, more specifically...Palmdale. I'm about 19 miles from the track. I believe it started raining around midnight. Not a heavy rain, just a regular rain. When I left for work this morning, it was more of a light rain. When I got here to Santa Clarita, it was pouring. I guess what I'm trying to say is....it rains about half as hard in the AV as it does everywhere else. That's probably why you don't see lush greeness out there, Ha!
Hopefully it will all work out for Sunday. I not a fan of mudders at all!!! :laugh: I will be there unless the powers to be call it off. Sounds like the track guys are working their butts off to make things work this weekend! 🙂

Track is doubtful for Sat. I will update this later.

Not looking good. I just came from the track they have drain ditches dug and light to moderate rain steady. Down pour at my house and I'm about 7 miles from the track. I will drive by in the morning to take a look.
Rain rain go away come on back some other day! OOPS excuse me 2nd grade flash back. LOL

Yeah, I just got home from work and it is pouring here in Palmdale. Ave. S is flooded at 30th East. If it is doing this at the track, I agree re: Not looking good. Time will tell.
