The Key is you got to be in the running for a national...If your not, then bump!
It was to protect both the guy getting bumped and the guys in the division he was getting bumped into as they take their points with them when they go...
But if the national is not an issue then you can/should be bumped through out the year. You have to make all nationals to win the national as it stand now.
South does not give year end division titles as other clubs do, so again the same "rule" would apply to the division champs..the reason why the "northern" clubs do not want to have late in the year bumps.
But again, since there is no such award for us in the south, it really matters little when you are bumped. You will not affect nationals if you are not a contender, nor affect the other chapters end of the year division champs.
