Thanks for the board for such amazing work. All of you guys did a phenomenal work. ( and that is volunteer work... What a dedication.) Thanks ;D
A lot of labor went into this event to make it so smooth and seamless.
It was a blast. I feel very fortunate to know such a good group of people.
Racing was good, spirited (sorry Ron), and very tough, with the usual Glen Helen moguls.
Looking forward to the next race.
Thanks to the board for doing such a great job! The program stayed right on time and I think we all appreciate that. The barbecue was great as were the prizes at the raffle...just wish I could have won something. >:( 😀
Congrats to all the winners and a good job to everyone else who attended. The "G"s were definitely in force this weekend! As for me, I wish I could have won, but a 2nd place overall for me at a Glen Helen national? Come on, that's as good as a win considering my previous track record! At least I tied Jim Wentz on total points for the weekend so it doesn't get much closer than that.
Good job everyone! Thanks for the great weekend! 🙂
Jeff
JH - ya just had to tell me your raffle ticket numbers and that's what I would have called. 😉 Like I said Saturday night........I don't pick 'em, I just annouce 'em.
And Hamblin and Wentz were on a misson this weekend! 8)
Jamin Jimmy Pierce, you looked real good out there over the weekend congrats to your 2nd over all.. Jimmy Good job putting things together for the raffle on the microphone, keep up the good work 😉 Glad I could help a little at the BBQ AND PICK UP TRASH AFTER WORDS, perhaps you can click on some good Karma FOR ME from you all u board members..... 😀 BLIX LEFT A MESS he he he he...... ;D Also Vic , Jeff Roehm , Mike yukon, Jeff haugh and his wife , pete, Herb Loyd, Lap dance Dan Townsend , and all the wonderful Lady's who keep the races running smooth, good job!!!

Well, sometimes less is more.... 😉 😀
I take back what I said about the raffle. I forgot that I was able to nab a free Jim Henn T-shirt that came flying overhead! ;D You gotta admit, Joe Stern's son is a crack-up!! Talk about a chip off the ol' block! 🙂 Now if only I could have nabbed some of those Dunlop tires... Maybe next time. 🙂

Hey Jeff. Good work this week-end.
Sooooooooo Close. Good riding. You fly on that 09.
jeff you should have kept your folks overnite , perhaps you would have done a repeat on sunday,,,
Sorry to get serious for a minute, but I must... Karen was out and about with my folks on Saturday trying to introduce them to whoever she could...it kind of let them know what my world was all about. My parents said they were happy to meet each and every one of you and had some real nice conversations with many of you. Thanks for being so friendly to them (for just being yourselves!).
Saturday was real special for me... My parents were never really that big on riding/racing because it's such a dangerous sport. My Dad has always been a golfer, and even though I've tried several times to pick up the game, my heart was never that into it. These days I only have time (and money) for one sport. Well, for them to come out to the races AND to see me actually win a couple of motos, well, it just doesn't get any more special than that. My parents aren't getting any younger and with as much heart trouble as my Dad has had over the years, you just never know when your time is up. Call it luck or whatever but I am very grateful that they were able to be there to see that.
OK, done with serious stuff now... 🙂
Jeff
Jeff, that was short and sweet, you wouuld of got a tear out of me if you had said one more line, call me sensitive, Thats me.... I know exactly what you mean about parents getting older and older.... ;D

Priceless........Glad your mom and dad were there although for some reason we didnt cross paths. I would have loved to meet them. You look good out there Jeff, I was rooting you on I dont know if you saw me there on the sidelines (the middle of the track) giving you hand signs (the best I could). What a great race to watch. I got all excited just rooting for you guys.
My 6 year old son (Marcus) told me I could be called "Rocket" now - after winning the 2nd moto of the 45 novice race yesterday. He knows we call Bob Reed - the Rocket. I thought that was cute and very memorable. I know that us Dads are "Rockets" in all of our childrens (and spouses too) minds.

WOW I wish I would have also got to meet your parnets, My parents were alot like yours Jeff, My dad was a Cowboy loved his horse's But he got his sons interested in dirt biking in 1967 when one of his fellow marines went to Vietnam and left his 1967 150 Honda Dream sport behind for my dad to take care of... In no time at all my dad was teaching my older brother to ride around our back yard, Oh the memories, Well I was the only son that really fell in love with dirt biking,, And I was the one who started racing at 14, I tried and tried to get my mom and dad to come and watch,, Never happen. Well I finally got my mom to come and watch a gang race at Carlsbad I think in 95, The ganged just loved meeting my mom and made her proud that I had sooo many friends who cared about me,, But she only could handle watching 1 moto cause I scared her battling for the win in the first moto with my friend Marty westerman, Anyways to this day My dad who's 74 still hasn't seen me race, and I still hope and pray he'll see me race the sport that he turned me onto,,, My dad has always thought I was a little nuts for racing, But I remind him How nuts do you have to be to climb aboard a 2000lb Bull or horse and know your going to get bucked off..LOL My dad was a cowboy thru and thru.. I just exchanged riding Horse's and Bulls , for a dirt bike.... To all my fellow gang members I hope and pray your parents have shared your joy in racing and they have gotten a chance to watch and enjoy a day with your fellow gang members....

jeff your parents were a pleasure to meet... i am glad for you they were there to see you do what you did...
the memory is priceless..... my mom made one race many years ago.. she just worries way too much.. especially after i broke my peivis and hip.. my father just did not approve of the sport but after years of my sharing race stories and asking him to come watch a race he was beggining to say yes i will if i can sit in the right chair .. due to a major backsurgery..
well that day never came.. and ... well i wish he did... so now i race with his b-day # and i believe he is there wathching from above... i really do understand... love them now!!!
