Here are a few suggestions:

1. How about moving our National weekend to earlier in the year...  Spring or early Summer?

2. Try to race all the local so cal tracks twice a year (this is probably already there... but just making a comment about it)

3. Try to get more joint races with Old Timers

4. Provide some kind of incentive/conciliation to attendees of other-industry events outside of OTHG, but still in MX or motorcycle world.  Would need to be pre-signed or otherwise confirmed with OTHG commitments at the event (flyers, etc) and not just attending only.  These events would be posted along with racing schedule.

5. Make the race schedule fit between February until before Thanksgiving - keeping the holidays void of all racing between Thanksgiving and new years.

I wish I could snap my fingers and everything would ok with our club but we are moving forward I don't plan on sitting on my hands and just existing with our current rider turn out this year was a learning process for me to evaluate where the club was at and now if im president I have ideas to move us forward to start advertise, advertise, advertise we been around since 1974 time for a moto mag to do an article about us more member involvement in promoting the club they ride with its early but other ideas will be brought to the new board and next years board WILL be more member building oriented. and as for what you asked mark you wanted me to contact blake about advertising cards which you showed me I thought was a great idea tried to call blake twice got no response so I had cards made offering free race with new member sign up and 20 dollar memberships last half of year and had great response and will continue based on its success thanks

Your right Phil you called me about the cards, but at that time I was deep into a show and wasn't racing cause I was working.
I have a few days off and will try and call some print shops that do card stock flyer's to give us some prices. My suggestion is list our entire 2014 schedule with our sponsors and make at least 2000 cards, place a stack in all MX shops and offer them a free race to place cards on counter.
Make more cards for the Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall schedules for riders that cant do a full schedule but still want to come out and race.
I am playing on the computer now and will make a demo.

Ya Eric, I forgot how expensive it is to rent that track ... but it is one of the coolest places to camp/ride!

Might be a good idea to get "Roger Doger" or whoever the 2014 VP is going to be and let them have some input.

I agree with these are great suggestions.
