Hey All,

I don't know about you, but 7 laps in the expert class with lap times in the 1:50 area is not nearly enough. I know I am not on the board and I believe everyone of you is doing a wonderful job that I myself don't have the time or even want to have the resposiblity of, but if we can't get more laps with the OTMX then lets have our own races (PLEASE).....
$35.00 plus gas and everything else for 14 laps is a little steep!!!!!!!That equals $2.50 a lap( Come On)

Can you feel me!!!! And while im at it could you please schedule the races on warm sunny days with no WIND!!!!!

Kidding on the warm and wind but serious on the laps!!!!!!!

The racing today was great except the wind and cold  but what else can ya do if you need ur racing fix.

But I agree with Dallas a few more laps would be even better.

I would like to thank all the organizers for a great job.

Hey Dallas,

This was not a typical event for us.  As others mentioned, we were really just guests to support the LA OTMX International event.  You can really think of it as series of support races.  When we get back to a more "normal" event, we will be able to set the schedule and laps to something a little more typical for us.

With the beautiful weather we had 2 weeks ago, we were overdue for some serious winds.

Just as Jeff said we were there to support the LA OTMX, so some sacrifices were made. The Old Timers have some "quirky" rules.  :-X

It's all good and we are back on track.....next week Comp Edge with the other Timers.

Lets just be thankful for what we got or get and not for what we thought could be better.  As for me I may have partially separated my shoulder (I heard a pop and have an odd pinch still) after my back end swapped coming up out of the pit and on the third swap it threw me to the ground.  Very disappointing after the hip injury two weeks ago.  But hey you know what up until that moment it was a great day even as much as I hated the wind - I still jumped down into the pit which was a big deal for me.  I thought the track was prepped well except for that big hole I hit just before the rythmn section coming out of the pit on the back end.  Well thats racing.  I hope I am not down too long.  In hindsight maybe I should have just pulled off, I dont know why I thought I might be able to catch up....Maybe it was just bad karma.......

JOhn Lombardo thanks for the kudos, means a lot coming from someone that has your skills and speed.  It was very motivating.

All you guys (board members) out there volunteering your time thanks!  We all knew that we had an opportunity to share "their" time on their national race which was real clear-their main fundraiser.

Also it was a plus for me to finally get another moto win (my 2nd) besides the 4th Moto at Glen helen.  I wanted an overall bad especially since ZZ TOP and Don Reed were not present.  Oh well that is racing.  I dont know where the heck that "new" guy came that was showing me the tire the entire first moto.

Hey,

I can understand that we were there to support the old timers but if it's going to be a race like that again please make it a optional event without points... I like racing and would have raced in another event if not for the points...

Wow, is that me????  Nice Shot Jeff, I had no idea you were there.

I apologize about declining the cake for Cadie, but I was a little frustrated and worried about my shoulder (I may get it checked on Wed. if it still hurts) and luckily Shaun helped my load up and stuff.  I did tell her Happy Bday.

Nice ride out there bro, I was jumping up and down all excited for you.  2 BIG TIME Holeshots!!!  You rode smart and smooth!!!  Great to see you out having fun again!!
