I was wondering how REM was today? Who won the 38 NOV. class? I wish I could have been there, but I am waiting for a doctors release.

Has anybody heard an update on Vince Ramos's knee ?  I just tried his cell and got voice mail. Hope he's 'OK.  I saw him go down hard.
Also, Gene Foster thought he may have broken his ankle.  Hope its just a sprang.
Get well guys,

Just heard you went under the knife Mike hope things are better and the healing has started...................REM was rough and awsome, old school MX to say the least. Gene Foster took a tumble resulting in ankle injury, don't know to what extent but I'll try to find out and post later. Does anyone know what happen to Vince..........what seemed to be a mild get off was not, he looked pertty shaken up, hope everythings ok. It was great to see everyone and I really do mean everyone , the strength that is so apparent when we stick together as a "family' speaks volumes. What I saw today with everyone pitching in with watering, flagging, gate duties and just offering to help with whatever it took to make it a great day. Thanks OTMX for making it a lot more financially beneficial thru these tough times with the two club format.

Thanks Pete I am doing fine, hoping the doctor will give me a full release to ride at Tulare. I still would like to know who won the 38 NOV. class. I think it would be Kevin or Jerard.

Mike,

Glad to hear the surgery went well. Looking forward to trying to stay with you at Tulare. I was at REM today, definitely did not win the 38 Nov class, there were only 2 of us and I was not sure who the other guy was, never met him and never saw him on the track either. Track was too fast for me, first time I had ever ridden on that track. It was a fun day though.

As for the guys who went down I hope the best for both of them. See everyone next weekend.

Good deal Kevin. I'm sure you will wax my A@@ at Tulare if I get clearance. No matter how wins should be a good time. I think my boys are going to go and maybe my wife. Lets hope the DOC gives me clearance.

It's alway nice to ride with OTMX the  formate was perfect and made it nice to ride 4 moto's .and yes it was old school.

Its nice the way everyone helped out to make the day even better.

Great job once again to all the scorekeepers, Board members, and  Jim "The Gate Master" Pierce for his Gate duties-figured out his gate cues in the 2nd moto and rocketed out of the gate for a jeff blix type holeshot....I think????.  I had a great time and so did the kids riding around.  Great to see Larz riding very well and Chuck Cook was out on the track making a first time 2009 appearance-great to see you back Chucky. Also to Jeff Blix for motiviating me and rooting me on.  Was home before 4:00 pm (98 miles each way) since I was out of there right after my race (#2).  That was a first in a long while.  Looking forward to Tulare in the "family" jar.  And last but not least (as I pat myself on the back) I got my first overall in the premier 45 novice class.  It took me a whole year to get there but it was very exciting nonetheless.  ZZ top and his sidekick Don Reed are a tough bunch to battle.

Track was Rough. The real deal. It was great fun.
The OTMX ran with transponders, that was cool, seeing how everybody is doing.
Mount Whitney is a long hill, and the run at it was every thing. You could see the real motocrossers pulling away just from that turn. ( I hate that turn... Very humbling, specially on a 125 )
The weather could not have been better.
I love this club.
Thanks for putting on a great day.
