Race day at Edwards was grate , The weather was perfect . This track should be a must for next years schedule,
grate times,
Rocket sounds like you did great and you got some points too. It looks like I missed out. There will always be another day to race. My pockets are pretty shallow lately and I have too much work. See you around like a donut.
We should have paid double points to get the "sand wussies" out. 😮
Also, I will get the results up as soon as the Vickster get them scanned and emailed over to me.
I really didnt think the sand was that bad. There were a few soft spots but not bad. The wide open drag strip at the bottom was awsome.
I have to say what a awsome track Edwards is ...................wish it was easier to get to and on to for some well needed sand practice . Have to say CRC runs like a well oiled machine when it comes to getting motos staged and going . Good thing CRC ran the show with the weak turn out of Gang riders it would of been hard on the check book .

Imagine that deep sand with 40 mph winds and wind chill factor of 20 degrees F. That's what I have experienced there in the past. We had a real lucky weather day and a bunch of dedicated Desert Wheels and CRC folks working hard to keep the track a safe and challenging adversary for the day. Good job to all the OTHg folks that showed up. I never heard anything but positive remarks from everybody and we can be proud of the we conducted our portion of the race day. Get well soon Blix.
Best regards to all,

Hey Tommy, Mr Pierce wondered if you had a fly-by arranged by some of your friends. I reminded him that you a "NAVY" man and we were on a AF base. It seemed like they were closed down on Sunday. You were so right, we were blessed with perfect weather. "FLY NAVY" 8)

Love the "Fly Navy" comment. Only Navy airplanes have Tailhooks. When I flashed my Access Card at the North gate on Sunday morning after having some trouble figuring out how to get through the pillars of security that had been installed since my last trip to the track, the guard asked if I had been there before. My response was "Yes, but I usually fly in". He was skeptical, but let me in anyway.
