Gary your wrong the membership wanted a change as well as the board it was a group discussion
Elvis

Elvis it bantered back and forth on the form and then the board decided to move it without a vote I think Chris had some sort of POLL up maybe I'm mistaken becsuse I can't find the thread it seems that it was deleted, locked or moved....?  it's like pissing in the wind are beating a dead horse or as some say water under the bridge there was not a vote the board decided on the memberships behalf.

Riding rules require memberships votes there should have been a proposal presented to vote on in order to change how a tie would be determined, but I'm not a part of the Inner Circle so I guess I don't have vote.

Gary, there is more to deciding what track to race then just where the members "vote" on going. There are costs, date availability, track operators willingness to work with the club, etc. So although there was a poll (i seem to remember that as well) the final decision of where to hold the national is a business decision and not one of where the heart wants to race. I mean I would love it if the national was at Mammoth or say Red Bud...not going to happen.

So just because a decision was made does not mean it is done with sinister undertones.

That being said, too many people are WAY to serious about this. We are just a bunch of old dudes riding dirt bikes around in circles for fun taking chances on our physical well being that we likely should not be doing. So just enjoy and come line up 🙂

Thanks for sharing your Viewpoint Kevin I appreciate it.  I'll try to better choose my words when I post in the future so as not to come across as suggesting anything as being sinister.  I know it's a MX club and I get we can't throw money into the wind however it's a nonprofit social club that has bylaws and membership should have a voice in things that affect riding rules and schedules.

You see me at the races, you know I'm a loyal supporter of the sport and I'm thankful you don't judge me based upon Girl Scout gossip!

I'll see you next weekend.

Oh dont worry....i did not take your as sinister per say but sometimes that is how it feels when others are making decisions that effect us. then add in the "lost in translation" aspect of the internet and  you get what you get.

See you at the races
