2011 Bay National Registration now open

I was bored watching the video. Same old track never changes thats why I'm not going. Why is it that every track we have a national on changes every year BUT Hollister. I say lets go back to Hanford for the bay National.. way better track..
I do feel bad for the rider that was injured though..

I'm the exact opposite.  I absolutely love the track and the area, would not miss it.  Parking is the only down side :'(
Adding the sand makes the track really look nice.  Lots of tables, no double, I am just a novice and this looks fun.

Tables tops are fine but the track can use some change. The dirt has always been good there just needs some obstacle changes. Like some step ups or step downs. You can make the track challenging and safe for everyone. I guess we are lucky here in so cal cause our tracks are always changing.

  Our local tracks change often. Argyll and Club Moto just got changes and 408MX was recently in Transworld and Racerx for the IMS sprint challenge race they had. 408MX changes often, doubles ,triples, rythym sections a triple triple section, etc.

Hollister wont ever change except for occassionally someone puts in a section of rollers or whoops. Its a State owned OHV race track and the State has to approve any changes. You also have to always put it back to exactly how you found it. Its safe and fun but you you still get to open it up a bit. We had a few AMA Motocross Pros out there last weekend ripping it up. They seemed to be smiling and not "bored"

I personally dont like Glen Helen, besides the big hill climbs and decent, there wasnt any decent jumps last year. May not be my favorite place but its one more place to ride and race with your buddies. Best of all I like supporting the other clubs. See all you "G"'s soon 😀

662b, you will like Glen Helen when you ride there against 202g  ;D  Cant wait to get down there to the most bad a$$ track on the circuit.  Hollister hasnt changed much, but to call it boring?  Come on 202g you have only raced 4 times this year, any track you ride has got to be better than sitting on the couch! Anyway, they added alot of sand over the past year and we are  having some minor changes made.  Those that make the trip will surely have good time.  Come one come all!

Yeah but i have raced Hollister for the last 6 years and its boring thats my opinion and i'm entitled to it. Just cause i haven't race with the gang doesn't mean i haven't been racing so get your info straight before you start blurting crap you know nothing about Talbot.

Its all good Ben!  Have been to Hollister twice this year so far and it has been the best I have seen it (in my opinion).  Amp is promoting the race and its the same group that did the Sierra National.  These guys are really on top of prep and keeping the water just right.  If the temperature is in the 70-80 degree range again, the track will be perfect.  As far as the other fellow, all  I know is that the guys who posted the video has made 14 races so far this year.  Thats his cure for boredom.  Ben if your coming Friday night swing by the Bay pits, we will have plenty of cold ones for all you southerners who make the drive.  We appreciate your support. 😀

The guy who made 14 races so far is irrelevant. Like i said just cause i haven't race gang races doesn't mean i haven't been racing or riding. I have been far from being bored. There are more things to life than racing with the gang.. I don't even know why your even saying anything about me when this was about the track that Mike662b explained why the track can't be changed much. So now i know why it doesn't get changed. Obviously your the bored one. Your the one trying to start drama between members with your lame false accusations.

See you all at Hollister, Fagundas is doing the BBQ again so it should be some good eatin' and as usual the raffle has alot of prizes that are usable.  Dont forget Friday practice if you can make it, Im sure there will be more than one happy hour around camp.  Cheers!
